Secondary Materials — Health & Safety Training
The SMHS - Resistant Materials is a general course covering 12 areas which is suitable for teachers, technicians and support staff in need of basic training. This is a one to two day DATA accredited course. The course duration can be amended to accommodate schools where there are reduced facilities.
A variety of practical assignments will be undertaken to cover the practical requirements of the course.

- Power Hacksaw / Metal Cutting Bandsaw
- Heat Processes
- Plastic Moulding Processes
Examples of Assessments: Pewter Casting, Line bending, Vacuum Forming, Finger Joints etc.

- Delivered on site in your own workshop, anywhere in the UK

- Up to four delegates per on-site course
